Hi and welcome to the Magix Community,

What types of files are you trying to import (extension)? What is the source of the files, camera? And type of camera?

Which version of Movie Edit Pro are you using (year and basic, Plus or Premium)? If the upper left corner of your screen show Movie Edit Pro xxxx but Plus or Premium is not mentioned, you have basic.

You most likely will not be able to import proprietary file formats from other movie editing software into MEP. MEP will not be able to read them.

You can import video, audio and image files, the same as you can in other software. See the manual for the list of file formats.
