@sren-rosenkrands

Which version do you have?

You put the plugins where you want, usually in subfolders under:

C:\Program Files (x86)\VSTPlugins

You have to at least have the feature that enables VST or you will not see what I indicate below.

Then in the Program Settings, Folders tab, click on "Add VST plug-in path..." and navigate to the added subfolder or the root folder.

Hi

Did you not read @browj2 last post?

The feature is in the Program Settings, Folders tab, click on "Add VST plug-in path - if you do not have that option you must be running the free version, in which case I would advise you to purchase the Plus or Premium version rather than purchase the individual extras and functions.

So if i AM running The free version, i dont remember, then i have to upgrade to premium. How do I do that then?

browj2 wrote on 4/15/2020, 10:48 AM

@sren-rosenkrands

Surely you would remember if you paid something.

What version do you have? See under Help, About.

You purchase Plus or Premium from Magix.com. Look at the comparison chart on Magix.com to see what is included in the Free, Plus and Premium versions.

Ok, but can i use this i have now, or do I have to install a New program? And if i upgrade, do My soundpools follow?

sren-rosenkrands wrote on 4/15/2020, 11:00 AM

Version 28.0.2.47

browj2 wrote on 4/15/2020, 11:33 AM

No need to install or reinstall the program or update as you have the latest patch. When you pay, you will have to activate in MM with the activation code that will be sent to you. Click on MAGIX account on the start up screen. Make sure that you are logged in to the Store. Enter the serial number and Activate. This should automatically install some stuff. Start a new project. The Downloads button will appear at the upper right of the screen. Click on it and Download and Install everything. For some items, it is a 2-step process, it downloads and then you have to click on Install.

Once done, go under the Store, look at the Soundpools, Features, Presets and Instruments tabs. You will have Credits showing at the bottom of each. Click on a credit and you will see what you can purchase with the credits. Choose wisely as you cannot undo any purchases with the credits.

Credits will also show up on the start up screen under MAGIX account and you can click on one of them to go directly to the Store.

One last question for now ;) I wondered....if my computer goes down, can i retrieve all of it again?

Or is it all lost?

Sincerely: Søren Rosenkrands - Collective Studio Denmark.

browj2 wrote on 4/16/2020, 12:33 PM

@sren-rosenkrands

I have 2 computers. If buy from the Store on one computer, it shows up in the Downloads of the other computer. So, no problem. That is one of the reasons that Magix set up the Store the way it is.

However, if you don't purchase through the Store, then you have to install manually, so it is best to have a backup of everything.
