I would like to know, if there is something new to download for my Independence version (see picture) maybe a newer *.dll or something? my last Independence.dll is from 12.2017
@Astraios The exact version number is listed under preferences. If I remember it correctly, the last version is version 3.6 from 2019. Newer versions can import OGG samples and are able to load new instrument libraries like Eduardo Tarilonte's Nada or Forest Kingdom 3.

Thanks for the info. If you click on the picture, you can see my preset data --> ve3.3. Do you have any idea how I can upgrade to 3.6, since there is only one file in the download area on Magix server
@Astraios The version number in the splash screen might not be correct. It's the one at bottom of the Preferences Tab.
If I'm correct then version 3.6 is only available if you have Samplitude. You can download it under the Help menu and then click on additional instruments. Otherwise, in the past, the installer for the stand-alone version in the customer account at Magix.com was version 3.5 from 2017. Maybe Magix updated that to 3.6? I'm not sure.

I am having a terrible problem now for almost a year. And I can find no help. I originally bought years ago, yellow tools, ndependence pro library, which later was acquired by magix. Each time I replaced a hard driver, had a computer crash. It would take me a week to get it back up and running due to the unbelievably difficult method of activating the license. I actually got it to run very stable about a year ago. But now, whenever I use the plugin in Cubase and close the project, independence pro causes the computer to crash or hang in closing out Eucon. I have verified that whenever I do not use the plug in.I can shut down everything just fine. I believe I am using the latest version on a iMAC Pro. Intel running Ventura. Someone, please tell me there's a workaround or a setting that i'm missing.
@RICHARD-HOWELLS Did this crash happen in the past as well or is it a new phenomenon? If it only appeared recently it might be caused by a change in Ventura or a new Cubase version. Sadly, I don't think there will be any update to Independence to fix these bugs.
As a workaround, you could try a metaplugin, this is a plugin that can load other plugins. Maybe it will run more stable that way. For example, such plugins would be Plogue Bidule or Pluginguru Unify.
Independence keeps crashing when clicking project button.
(this video I recorded accurately shows what has been happening).
My Independence software has suddenly stopped working in it's fullest. The program has been working great for over a year, until yesterday when I clicked the button to load/save a project and the program froze. It now freezes whenever I click the project button , no matter if it is on desktop, in a Magix Music maker or Even Flstudio and Ableton.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled 2 times now with no luck. Other than this error the program is great. I had no popups stating an error or anything else.
I googled for a good 7hrs and found no threads on any site that could help me either. However I did do a heavy check on my pc and did find the project load file, and when I deleted it the button just became moot and didn't work at all as expected.
I then tried to see if I could repair the/redownload and get the file back and that didn't work either.
@AJenn Ok, maybe this is caused by the recent introduction of MIDI2 on Windows 11? I only suspect this, because the standalone version of Independence has it's own MIDI preferences.
