The error code in that message seems to be 0xc000007b. A very quick Google search on it leads to this page, amongst others. Do any of the suggested solutions help you, since it seems this is a Windows issue, and not one directly caused by MEP?

Hi

Is this Movie Edit Pro 2021 - if so download and install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015, 2017, 2019 Redistributable from Microsoft here.

Install the x86 and x64 versions only - do not install the ARM version.
