upgraded Magix Music Maker 2024 Premium from version 32.1.0.18 to Magix Music Maker 2026 Premium version 34.0.0.6 and I have problems with the installation. As you can see in the pictures, everything is described. I am trying to install some of the Vita instruments and I get an error. Not only that, I installed some, but when I close the program, that is, Magix Music Maker 2026, the same instruments that I installed appear again in the downloads section and I have to download and install them again, and when I close Magix Music Maker and open it again, they appear in the downloads section. The same with soundpools & samples.Im runinig upgrade from win 10 pro to win 11 pro <----This is when I installed it.<--close magix<----after restarting im turn on it still appears in the downloads section

@gimigitara

Hi

Check that the Vita and other instruments are in the folder:-

C:\Users\Public\Documents\MAGIX\Common\

This is my folder you should have the indicated items

If the folderpath is different for Instruments and/or Soundpools what is the full path?

Also check your Antivirus software, Folder Protection or similar, feature is not blocking the install.

yes everything is inside the folder! I tried turning off the anti virus and installing it doesn't work. I have a disk top and magix music maker 2026 version 30.0.06 is installed on it and everything works great. This is my laptop.

@gimigitara Maybe your Windows is missing some runtimes or it's damaged. You can try the following to repair it:

open cmd.exe as administrator (it's best to enter cmd in the Windows search and then right-click the search result to start as administrator), type DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth and press Enter.

Windows will now get an up-to-date restore image from the Microsoft servers.

If this is done type sfc /scannow and press Enter.

Windows will now check its system files and tries to repair them by using the new image.

See here for details:

If this doesn't help, you can try to install the current versions of the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables from here https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170#visual-studio-2015-2017-2019-and-2022

These two methods do not work. I uninstalled both versions of Magix Music Maker and reinstalled only version 32.1.0.18 and everything works perfectly without any problems. Later I tried to install version 34.0.0.6 again and I got the same result, everything happened again.

@gimigitara Do you use antivirus or firewall software other than Windows Defender? Has your Windows user account limited privileges? This is all very odd.

gimigitara wrote on 4/2/2026, 10:50 AM

I have malwarebytes free version and firewall windows defender and I have only one win user accaount local account no limited privileges.

SP. wrote on 4/2/2026, 11:05 AM

@gimigitara Hmm, maybe Malwarebytes is causing this?

gimigitara wrote on 4/2/2026, 11:04 PM

I uninstalled Malwarebytes and tried to reinstall it, same problem. In addition, a new problem appeared. I can't see my serial number on my account my product for Magix Music Maker 32 version and 31 version, they simply disappeared, please return them, I paid for them.

serial number disappired

SP. wrote on 4/3/2026, 10:59 AM

@gimigitara That's because you registered the Free Edition of Music Maker 2023 and 2024 (version 31 and 32). They don't have serial numbers. Only Premium and Plus Editions have serial numbers.

You can download the latest version of Music Maker 2024 from here:

Hello friend, I have good news. I have finally managed to install all the vita instruments that are now functioning properly. This action includes everything you recommended, including what I tried to move later. In addition to what you recommended, I also tried restarting a few other things, including: moving the text cursors indicator off and on, then to the screen resolution, then in the windows search tab vita, then open all the vita instruments you have and then remove and install them again, then uninstall the complete magix music maker with Revo uninstaller and install again dont run administrator just klick on file . I am not sure what helped and what was the reason for my error, but I can say that in the future all this will help someone, both yours and mine. Many greetings and Happy Easter.
