@Jeff-Laughlin

On the screen where you created your post is the following message, in bold:

Please be mindful of data protection. Do not publish any personal information. Examples of personal information are your email address, telephone number, credit card number, serial number or order number.

So, why did you post both your order number and serial number on a public forum where anyone can now activate the program using your serial number?

I suggest that you remove these immediately before someone does.

@Jeff-Laughlin

Hi and welcome to the forum

I have renoved the order and serial numbers from your post.

This is a public forum not Magix Support so never post any of the information @browj2 has mentioned above in the forum.

. . . . When trying to install software, it errors out. Unable to install. . . . .

We need more detail of what happens when you try to install the program, eg: at what stage does it fail, any error messages you get - please quote in full.

Screenshots may help, however make sure you blur out or eliminate any confidential information such as email address, serial number etc before uploading.

It would also help if we know more about your computer specification and Antivirus program, see this topic for what is required and please quote processor and graphics card make/model in full - I would suggest you put this information in your profile signature so we do not have to keep asking for it.

This is the error I receive when attempting to install. Restarting install results in the install stopping in the same place.

This has happened before; have a look at this thread:

https://www.magix.info/us/forum/installation-problem--1297445/

All my forum comments are based on or refer to my System 1.

My struggle is over! I built my (now) system 2 in 2011 when DV was king and MPEG 2 was just coming onto the scene and I needed a more powerful system to cope. Since then we've advanced to MP4 and to bigger and bigger resolutions. I was really suffering, not so much in editing (with proxies) but in encoding, which just took ages. A video, with Neat Video noise reduction applied, would encode at 12% of film speed. My new system 1 does the same job at 160% of film speed. Marvellous. I'm keeping my old system as a capture station for analogue video tapes and DV.

System 1

Windows 11 v23H2 severely modified by Openshell and ExplorerPatcher
