Hi and welcome to the forum

This is a long shot but try resetting the program back to its default settings, File, Settings, Rest program settings to default - note this will reset any customisations you have made to Movie Edit Pro 2016, eg the folder locations etc.

 

Windows 10 64bit (build 20H2 Build 19042.685) fully patched, 16 gig ram.  Intel i5 4670. 
ALL SSD Drives, 1 500gig system 350 gig free, 2 data drives, 450 GB free each.
Nvidia GTX960 2G. Internet always on. Focusrite 2i2 2ng Gen
1680 x 1050 Samsung Monitor
Movie Edit Premium 2021. Magix Video X11. Designer Pro 17.1, Izotope RX7 Standard

Ok, so I'm having trouble figuring out how to "Reset program settings to default". could you give me clarity on how to do that plz?
