Is there a list of Webcam known to work with Magix Movie Edit Pro 17?

I have tried several webcams on my 64-bit Windows 7 computer, including one I bought yesterday, a Logitech C270 H. Every time I try, I get an error from Magix saying it cannot connect to the device, yet other software connects just fine. My main purpose for using a web cam at all is to use the built in time-lapse feature of Movie Edit Pro. Thanks for any info you can provide.

I answered this one before, I have a similar HD webcam... I am running Windows 7 (64-bit).

In Movie Edit Pro 17 Plus, after selecting the record button and choosing video recording (VHS cassette icon) for recording webcam I always received a "Could not connect to selected device". I use a Logitech C910.

I noticed that the audio driver selected was not the Logitech HD Pro Webcam C910 (WDM), and when I selected this, I was able to receive the video and audio correctly.

Where did you notice the audio driver wasn't right? I don't see any options to change anything. Just blank fields

Did you not notice that this topic is 8 years old and refers to an old edition of Movie Edit Pro?
