Issues with installing

trying to upgrade to Vegas 18, and get a couple of errors.

 

Could not access network location [WIX_DIR_COMMON_DOCUMENTS] MAGIX_MxCloudSync\

Could not access network location [WIX_DIR_COMMON_DOCUMENTS] MAGIX_Travel Maps\

Could not access network location [WIX_DIR_COMMON_DOCUMENTS] MAGIX/Common/Videocontent/Movie Studio Suite\


Unable to continue installation.

 

I'm at a loss.

Hi and welcome to the forum

Do you mean Movie Studio 18 or Vegas Pro ?

If Vegas Pro then Vegas products have their own forum here.

If Magix Movie Studio 18 then the error message during the installation process is caused by the "controlled folder access" feature in Windows Defender.

Try turning off your Windows Defenders Controlled Folder ( Folder protection) feature then start the install again.
