It's been a minute. I'd moved on to other software, but of course I'll always have a soft spot for Acid and the community here. I've not tried it, I'm not endorsing it, I don't know what - if anything - is fixed. But it's there, and BorisFX have typically put in good work modernising other software.
I honestly can't remember what any of the major gripes were since I migrated over to Ableton Live (and now I have a different set of gripes to deal with ;).. I've gotten it installed and it's working, although it took a very very long time to scan plugins. So, that's not changed.
But, I've managed to open up a project a noodle around it in for a while and it's not crashed. So, there's that.
