Hi,

I'm not sure if everything that you need to install is on the DVD's. In the program, did you go to Help, Free Download and download and install everything?

In the program, what do you see under Edit, Wizards? You should see Slideshow Maker, Soundtrack Maker and Travel Route Animation.

Hi.

Yes, I can see the Slideshow maker and Soundtrack maker, but no Travel Animation.

If I go to Help, there is no button for "free downloads."

Thanks.

Hi Doug,

You did go to Help on the menu line, not the help manual. There is no "Free downloads" on the rolldown list? If not, then this is probably because you purchased the DVD program and everything is there and does not need to be downloaded.

According to page 18 the manual, last bullet point, Travel route animation is included only in the Plus/Premium versions of MEP. I presume that you have the regular version and thus TRA is not included.

I presume that you registered with Magix. Next time Magix offers you a good deal on an upgrade to a new version, I suggest that you take at least the Plus version, or better still the Premium version. Still, it depends on how much you plan to use the program and what features that you would like to have. MEP 2015 will probably be offered this year, and registered users always get a discount.

Just to check that you have everything installed, make sure that you have effects, fades and music. Other than looking at the various screens in MEP, go to the following folder and look at the contents of things like Slideshow music, Soundtrack Maker Styles, Titles, VideoEffects, etc. to make sure that you have installed the content.

Occasionally Magix bundles Vasco da Gama with one or another of their products. I upgraded to the most recent edition after receiving a nice discount from Motion Studios, maker of Vasco da Gama. I use this instead of TRA. I did a tutorial on this. See the tutorials.

I have the Movie Edit Pro 2014. I'm not sure if that is covered as Plus, etc. Certainly, the help (From the help dropdown) says it should be there....
