Looping

RAP_Rudd wrote on 11/24/2019, 5:51 PM

I wanted to make a short show which loops to the beginning when it comes to the end of the presentation. I have the box ticked to do this in file - settings - movie. testing. It worked in the editing/compilation section when trying it out there; but, when burned to a separate DVD it did not work. Am I doing something wrong? I also have an old Magix Video Pro with the same result.

Hi

. . . . the box ticked to do this in file - settings - movie . . . .

This setting is for looping the playback of the movie on the timeline within the program.

To loop a movie on disc you need to do the following - referring to the image below

  1. Click the Burn icon to open the disc menu page

  2. Click the menu edit button

  3. Double click in the preview pane

  4. Select Play film as endless loop option

Ok the dialogs and then click the Burn icon on the right approx 2/3 down the menu page, select the type of disc you want to burn and burn it.

When the disc is played in a player the first play has to be started manually from the disc menu, after that it should loop until stopped.

Hi

. . . . So there is a hidden menu . . . .

Don't know about hidden, it is in the PDF manual available under Help, see the section on Menu entry/menu page properties.
