Assuming you mean 16 from 2010 and not 2016, if the new PC is running Windows 10 then the program is not compatible with this version of Windows.

I am surprised you managed to get the program to start - Windows 10 stopped my old versions up to and including 17 from starting.

If you manage to get the program activated - I suspect you may have issues with activation - some features and effects may not work eg burn DVD/BD discs. Additionally video file support is limited to Full HD (1920 x 1080) maximum, 2.7K and 4K video are not supported.

I would advise upgrading to the latest version, more suited to the new computer, as sooner or later a Windows update will cause issues with the old program as it did with mine.
