Hi.

Assuming you followed The advice given by @johnebaker in your previous post and are no longer suffering from the vbs file problem then try the following.

Go into the program's Program Settings found under File \ Settings \ Program and navigate to the Device options tab. There change the Import : Processing : and Export settings from the Intel(R) UHD 630 to use the CPU in all three. While you are there in the program settings look at the playback tab and make sure you are using the Wave driver option for audio playback along with the buffer number selected to 4 and Multitrack and Preview size are set to use 8192 samples and that you have both boxes ticked in the arranger panel and in the video playback section that the Overload optimization for realtime playback box is also ticked Press OK and exit.

Then see if you can at least import and play the titles.

What that should do is decrease the amount of ram in use for video playback as you are relying on the motherboard ram for graphics which could be the reason for the freezing or slowdown of the program.

At least at my end I saw a reduction in the amount of ram used for video playback. Please bare in mind my own system is a more powerful one than your own and may have skewered my results. These alterations may not work for you but I think may be worth trying. I left responding to you to see is John or someone else would come up with a suggestion but so far no-one has so this is my attempt trying to see what may help you.

As with the previous 'missing file' message and the above message I have none of these present and yet the 3D templates work fine, irrespective of the GPU selected.

Where did you purchase MMS 2024 from?

Do the 3D templates work fine if you disable your Antivirus program?

@CubeAce, the GPU is a HD 630 not the UHD 630.

Hi John.

Typo error but once I noticed it I couldn't fix it.

The same here with no problems with any of the 3D text but we both also have additional nvidia GPUs which however the program is set up still seems active and uses an amount of reserved ram / vram from both GPUs. I was hoping that changing the settings would help reduce the amount of ram needed for GPU usage. The following video starts with the program using the HD 630 and then I change it to using the CPU only. Note however both GPUs are still in use. I was hoping to distribute the processing more evenly hence my last comment that it may not work.

Apart from your suggestion are there other programs that may be open in the background such as a web browser with multiple tabs open? Which disk are the source files on? I personally have never known the program to not use 3D titles just because of an antivirus running but then does the use of 3D titles come within the definition of base program or are they considered not part of the base program? I have no idea.

This mighty bring more light to the situation i have here. i got my program through download and when doing so my Antivirue show sign of virue while downloading could this be the problem. i also have this new development a new message. The file format of (c\users\public\documents\MAGIX\common\videocontent\movie studio suite content\titles\X3D\static\Balthazar3,X3D. Cannot be read.

Hi.

Yes it would have been useful to know that. It means that the solution @johnebaker gave may be helpful.

If you disable your antivirus from scanning and the 3D graphics works you can permanently stop the antivirus program from scanning those folders that could be causing the problem by adding them the the antivirus program's exception list of folders not to be scanned.

There may be other Magix folder locations I am not aware of that need adding in which case John Baker may be of further assistance.

A BIG THANK TO YOU GUYS FOR YOUR GREAT CONCERN. I THINK WE FOUND THE PROBLEM AND IT HAS BEEN SOLVE, I DISACTIVATE MY ANTIVIRUES THEN UNINSTALLE THE PROGRAM AND REINSTALLED A FEW MINTES LATER WITHOUT THE ANTIVIRUE AND THE X3D NOW OPEN SMOOTHLY. THANKS RAY, THANKS JONH EB......

That's great to hear.

I should never underestimate the wisdom of @johnebaker but you should add MMS 2024 to your antivirus's exceptions folder list if you have not done so already as you should not really have your antivirus turned off to run the program.
