i would like to send the error log to you for your review . ? how do i attach the log file, and what e-mail should i use.

this does not happen all the time, only rarely. case in point, vhs video tape of older john wayne movies from 1943, remastered in1995. i been under the imprestion that copy rights no longer apply. mind you i have done alot vhs tapes in the past, thats why i buy them for my personal use only. i have completted 90% of all his movies, this one i can't even rip it to the hard drive ! i would say about 30% of all the vhs movies i've made, i was able to edit them just fine.

thanking you inadvance for your help

best regards: dan mazurek...........

Hi

. . . . i been under the imprestion that copy rights no longer apply . . .

Not being a lawyer, as I understand it copyright for films is normally 70 years from first release, however in the case of re-released films this will be extended.

Most of the old John Wayne films have been re-released on DVD and remastered so copyright will still apply.

. . . . how do i attach the log file . . .

You dont.

Open the log file with a text file reader, eg Notepad, and locate where the error message is then copy everything from the start of the burn process up to and including the error message for that particular burn and paste it into your reply

Note: the error log may contain many burn logs.  Each time you burn a disc the information is added to the end of the log file, so it may be a very long file.

HTH

John
