Magix Movie Edit Pro 2015 fisheye correction

ovisopa wrote on 9/16/2014, 4:23 PM

Hello, anyone tried the fisheye correction feature as is the only thing I see new and I might be intrested in on 2015 version (maibe the 64bit feature will also help).

Don;t know how well the fishey corection works compared let's say to Prodrenalin softaware, which I use (but lose more time) only for fixing gopro fishyed videos.

If someone tried this feature , please share a video to see the quality.

Thank you.

ovisopa,

Why not download the free trial version and check for yourself - including direct comparisons with you Prodrenalin product.? I've had a very quick look and it seems interesting including key frame options for changing the amount of correction as the clip plays.

Carl

German member reports that it works quite well but the frame needs to be zoomed and cropped of course to make up for the missing image at the middle edges after correction. This is manual or automatic.

Says it has a problem if there is much movement in a handheld shot.

Hi Carl, I'll try now to install it, now to days ago when I seen the newsletter didn't seen any FREE trial button on the MEP 2015 page  .. didn't thinked to check on the main menu FREE DOWNLOAD  :)

I will try now a direct comparison of the two products, fisheye correction + stabilization (I maninly shot aerial videos, and some older videos need stabilization)
