Magix Music Maker MX with Alesis Q 25 compatibility

I am interested in buying either the Alesis Q25 or Akai Pro MIni keyboard controllers to control my MMMX synths. I only have the basic MX version. My rig runs Windows 7 SP1 64 Bit OS. Midi music playback: Microsoft GS Wavetable SW Synth.

I only have the USB inputs and both these controllers are USB-to-USB. My soundcard is the Realtek HD Audio (driver up-to-date). Will either of these controllers work with MMMX? I am only interested right now in controllers, not any fancy workstations or whatnot. Both of these models are simple 25-key MIDI controllers. They should be fine for triggering the softsynths packaged within MMMX. But...you never know!

So, what's the problem?  It sounds like a match to me.

"Will either of these controllers work with MMMX?"

Sure....why wouldn't they?  What are your concerns?

Just that there might be a compatibility issue with a particular make or model of controller. Akai and Alesis are pretty much heavy hitters in the industry, so I figured that they'd more than likely be good to go, but I was just checking. Thanks!
