MAGIX Video deluxe 2026 Premium-problem

Alfns wrote on 3/31/2026, 9:26 AM

I have been using MAGIX Video deluxe 2026 Premium without any significant problems but when I started the program today the attached program image was displayed which was frozen and could only be closed by command in the task manager. The text at the bottom left is in Swedish:

Skapar menyer …
Uppdaterar programlayout …
Initialiserar videosystem …
Initierar film …

which means:

Creating menus …
Updates program layout …
Initializing video system …
Initializing movie …

I uninstalled the program and then reinstalled it but exactly the same thing happens after the reinstallation. What has happened and how can it be fixed?

I deleted the Videodeluxe.ini-file as shown in another thread and then the program worked. I do not know why.

My video was doing exceptionally fine until today. Now all of my clips are sitting in the lower left corner and I can't seem to get it back to the middle... Someone please help me as I have a video memorial for a wake due this evening at 7p. Thanks I'm advance 🙏🏾🙏🏾

Kev, what software and version are you using?

Post a screenshot of what you're seeing there. It sounds like you just need to adjust the Size-Position-Rotation effect for each object.

Hi

Assuming you mean the Preview monitor looks something like this:

While holding old down the Ctrl key, double-click the left mouse button to reset to standard view.

@AAProds

Thanks to the both of you for responding. I'm just now seeing your responses. After trying several different methods I simply closed and reopened the program and voila... Everything was back to normal.🤷🏾‍♂️ Once again the thanks.
