When I try to run Magix, I get the following error Dialog

"A problem caused the program to stop working correctly". I had fairly gone thro' similar questions posed earlier and tried my best with my limited knowledge.

1) I tried to uninstall the program and used Magix Clean tool also. Nothing worked.

2) I removed Videodeluxe.ini file also.. Problem continues..

3) The event viewer reported the following error codes: 1000 Application Error.

Hi

The error message would indicate that this is a problem NVidia graphics card drivers.  Which is a known problem on the NVidia forums

Have you a NVidia graphics card /chipset and have the drivers been updated either manually or by Windows?

If they have been updated then try rolling back the drivers, if the drivers are old then try updating them.  I know this sounds like a contradiction however it is known that sometimes rolling back the drivers or updating them works.

Please include your computer specification when posting - you can put it in your signature if you wish - then it is available to all when responding to questions.

You are absolutely correct. When I disable the Nvidia Graphic card, Magix started working. I may need to roll back the driver. What is surprising is: with the present driver, Magix continued to work for a long time. I will update you once this problem is sorted out, as at present, with your guidance, I did an interim work around.

Hi Sudarshan

. . . . Put in Signature: Here, I do not understand. How do I put in my signature? . . . .

To do this click on My Overview at the top of the screen just below your name to go to your profile page.

Click Edit my profile - in the centre of the page you will see the My signature  text entry box.

Enter the information there and save.
