Manually inserting scene marker(s).

Richard-Curtis wrote on 7/5/2019, 7:39 AM

I have a perfectly obvious scene change that "Automatic Scene Recognition" refuses to recognise. How do I manually insert a scene recognition marker in the Automatic Scene Recognition timeline?

@Richard-Curtis

Hi

. . . . How do I manually insert a scene recognition marker in the Automatic Scene Recognition timeline . . . .

You don't - the scene recognition has only 3 actions - see image below.

If you elect to cut at the scene markers than you manually make the cut at the missed marker.

If you elect to save scenes as takes then you manually have to specify the the scene as above then Save as a take ( Shift + K ).

Thank you for your prompt response - I was afraid that would be the case.  What I wanted to do, of course, was to insert the manual scene marker and then save all the takes in one go via the Automatic Scene Recognition selection box - which it would seem can't be done.  Oh well, I can live with it...

I have tried to get help for months now and nothing... the PC check and tune up that I purchased never works and no help. the MAGIX movie edit pro premium won't upload into MPEG4 or MP4 I have checked and changed settings over and over and it looks like it is uploading correctly then won't. these are pics from both programs

also, when it has uploaded weeks ago, it would be scrambled. I lock the tracks, link the items now, highlight and still audio is overlaid 3 times and video clips and effects either gone or in another place

@Juliette-Perez

Welcome to the Magix forums.

You have posted to a thread which is asking a completely different question to the one you've asked. Please do not do this but rather start a new thread with your question.

In that thread please make sure you include ALL the information requested in this post. Also, please tell us exactly the version number of MEP Premium which you have (check under Help>About), the format of the files you are using in the program, the export settings you are using, and anything else which you have tried, so far without success.

In order to prevent this thread being hijacked it will now be locked.

EDIT: You will see I have removed the two images of your serial number for PC Check and Tuning, since these are confidential and should never be posted to a public forum.

Also, you've highlighted the Magix project file in one your screenshots, the file with the .MVP extension. If that is what you are attempting to upload then you will never be able to upload to YouTube and have it show your video.  .MVP is merely a file containing all the data which MEP needs in order to create the final video. But you need to Export the video to mp4, or similar, in order to create a suitable file.
