Hi,

I'm not sure what you have. I presume that you downloaded everything under Help, Free download? If so, then you have many effects.

If you want to buy more, go to the Catooh.com site, part of Magix, and look up "fade" and "transition" and you will find several.

You can also go to Pixelan.com and look at what they have to offer. The ones to look at are 3D Six-pack, Dissolve, and Spicemaster. Except for 3D Six-pack, these are organic and quite powerful, and the price is not bad.

And ProDad Adorage is another product offering transitions. There are probably more that you can check out, like Red Giant and New Blue, but these are all quite expensive.

Finally, you can make your own. Go to the Discussions tab in this forum, Move Edit Pro, and search for fades and transitions. You will find help there.

Thanks John,

I have the Movie Edit Pro 2013 but there is no "Free Download" option when I click on the Help tap.

Hi,

Did you buy MEP online or download directly from Magix.

Did you enter a serial number into the program and register with Magix?

Which version of MEP2013 do you have, basic, Plus or Premium? Check under Help, About MAGIX Movie Edit Pro.  If you have basic then you will not see anything after the year.

What do you see on the screen as choices when you go to Fades in the list at the left? And what are the choices under Standard? Under Effect fades?

I purchased this MEP directly from Magix and they sent the software to me in CD with the Serial Number. I have activated the software by entering the serial number and also registered it with Magix.

I think mine is the basic version and the display shows:

MAGIX Movie Edit Pro 2013

Version 12.0.4.2 (UDC1)

When I clicked on Fades, there are four choices: Standard, Spatial Fades, Movement, Shapes and object

There are 12 choices under Standard but can't find the "Effect fades" option.

Hi,

Strange that there is no Free Download under Help, unless everything was on the CD, which may be the case. Or, maybe that is all that you get with the basic version.

Maybe someone else who installed the basic version can jump in here.
