In MEP 2013, how can I repeat the playback of a Range ?

Playback A Selected Range In A Loop

I play the range back using the {arrows} below the program monitor, but can figure how to get it to play in a continuous loop?

The Program Monitor Window

When in full screen mode, in previous verions of MEP, I could reset the window back small above the TimeLine  from the window menu. Recently I've just been dragging it back.

How can I do that now?

Just make sure this setting is enabled, and then press the '/' key to loop repeatedly, whether in the monitor or full screen.

Not sure I follow what you mean, but just press Esc to return from full screen view.

Thanks  .... Play Movie In Loop Mode ........

I found the windows reset...... in MEP 2013 it been relocated to a sub menu off the Window menu, I couldn't see it for looking at it. !

I see F9 is a shortcut key for it also.... forgot that too !

I  drag the monitor to my second display.

The reset is usefull to reset all windows to their default.

Hi

A quicker way to switch between full screen and normal is to double click in the preview window - the display toggles between normal and full screen each time you double click it.

Surely that behaviour is not what you want when dual screen working, putting the monitor back where it was originally ie full screen on the second monitor is the behaviour I would expect.

I often have other programs running which I need access to during editting and I have them placed behind the monitor on the second screen. 

When I need to access them a quick double click on the monitor and they are available to use, another double click I am back editting again.

Hi John

It is the behavior I'd expect too when you mentioned it.

I can see the advantages of the double click and having access to other running programs underneath.

The only reason I mentioned that it didn't return it to it's home location above the timeline was to demonstrate the difference of the windows reset function.

Previously I tended to tidy away the program monitor

Recently I've been using Windows sleep function to keep everything open so when I return I can start where I left off.
