MEP 2015 WMV 2 pass export problem

So I can export to any other format and there will be no problems, and i can export to WMV just fine, but if i do WMV 2 pass Maximal Value, the program will freeze when there is 1 minute left. I left my computer on for 3 hours and it still failed to finish. If i do average 2 pass, the program will just crash when it nears the end. However like i said if i just do something like variable bitrate - Quality, then it exports just fine with great looking results. I'm not really sure what the problem is or what to do about it. im unsure if it's my pc or the program.

I'm going to try Magix 2014 to see if that works but I would really like to get the 2015 version working. I should also mention that I bought this off Steam, and i validated the files, which means that if anything is missing or corrupted it will re download those files automatically, and the validation finished with no errors.

This problem is reproduceable, however if you terminate MEP the video is actually complete.

However - using the 2 pass option the quality of the finished video is significantly poorer then using the single pass option.

Multipass or 2 pass encoding is supposed to be able to reduce the incidence of video artifacts in motion by analyzing the video in the first pass and then using the result in the second pass to achieve the best encoding quality, however the test videos I have tried are very pixellated where there is motion.

Have you sent the cash log(s) to Magix? If not please do so - I have sent mine - however AFAICS they do not contain a complete set of data - this being replaced by several ???.
