The only GPU requirement for NB Ttler Pro 7 is an OpenGL 2.1 capable graphics card/chipset, the UHD 630 exceeds this requirement supporting OpenGL 4.

Are you using the latest Intel driver for the UHD 630? The latest version is 30.0.101.1340

The other error messages would suggest the Visual C++ redistributables are not correct - see this Support article here.

Then why the separate Vram requirement over the motherboard ram mentioned?

It seems very specific and as far as I'm aware there is no vram within an Intel chip. It takes its allocated memory from the motherboard ram.

Hi Ray

VRAM does not have to be on the GPU - it is any type of random access memory (RAM) specifically used to store image data for a computer display. The UHD 630 can use up to 64 GB however Windows allocates the RAM space to the iGPU and limits the maximum to half the installed RAM.

Prior to getting the RTX 2060, I was running Titler Pro 7 (full version) on the UHD 630 with no issues.

Hi John.

There is still a discrepancy I think,or at least have failed to understand.

Dedicated system vram can be set on some motherboards and not others via the bios. Otherwise, normally as far as I'm aware it will use shared systems memory. Dedicated Video Memory is normally set by the processor instructions. At least that was my take on it.

From my Computer.

On the other hand the Intel specs show no sign of Integrated RAMDAC and just states Internal.

This I find confusing to say the least.

As usual so helpful and willing to lend a hand.

This is all rocket science to me so I will have to call my tech friend (almost 40 years my junior), translate your posts into Spanish and hope that everything turns out fine. Last time I requested your assistance, it came out just fine and above all simple to carry out - it was the screen capture deal, remember?

In the meantime, I will do as John indicates, the driver for Graphic Card; the other indication, I dare not and will have to wait.

I do hope John is correct and that I'm wrong. I just am very wary of program providers to hide certain aspects of their software that could put people off of a purchase so they cover it up with confusing and unhelpful specs no-one fully understands. They cover up such a thing with such 'specs' that technically covers them when people complain. Those with sufficient power within their systems will never notice a problem while others are left wondering what has gone wrong with little to point to what has caused a problem.

First my apologies for not commenting sooner. I have been very busy doing domestic chores.

I want to thank you Ray for wishing me well. The last couple of days, I have been trying to do it all over again reviewing every step and spending long hours and somehow I have managed to load all of NB Effects except for New Blue Titler EX that when trying to open it there is this sign that says "The following video effect plug-in could not be loaded:C/programData/Magix/Common/VfxPlugins/NewBlueTitlerEX.vsx . It is possible that no video plugin-ins are installed or the version ís incompatible." I searched program data and found only three files, New Blue Titler Ex.ddl, application extension; New Blue Titler EX, Microsoft vision document; and New Blue TitlerEX64ddl, application extension. This is the last effect that is not loaded.

I also believe I should mention that at the beginning every step was very confusing with no clear instructions. For instance the fact that NB had to be launched from New Blue not Help Content. Also as I progressed there were several warnings that left me wondering and not finding a solution - that is why I posted this thread. I still believe, however, that Johnebaker´s recommendation should be followed and I intend to do it right after I finish loading this last Effect.

Hi José.

I had a similar problem with a different effect with the same warnings.

That should disappear and correct itself if you shut down your computer using the Restart option and then open the program again. No additional action should be needed.

Windows 10 operating system, intel core i5-104000T CPU@ 2.00GHz 1.99GHz processor. Ram 16.00GB. 64-bit operating system, 64x based processor.

But as I commented above I had the same problem just yesterday installing a copy of HitFilm Ignite Keying and Flares and my system is fully up to date. I thought I had copied the warning that came up but didn't. Basically it said, 'Can't find xxx possibly the plugin is not installed or is incompatible'.

The only information I could find on the New Blue site was if a plugin fails to load to uninstall the plugin using Windows and then re-install. Which is what I did but it still generated the same warning you got.

However, I switched off the computer and went to bed. The next time I fired up MEP or VPX the plugin worked with no further effort. The machine probably needed a reboot to finalize the install. I also think the Magix updater often runs in the background after the main editor is shut down and may have caused the plugin to not fully install at that time. The reboot cleared that.

Titler Pro 7 has initially been problematic for me in getting it to work. I bought TP7 last year. After installing, it created havoc in all my editors where I could access it. So I uninstalled and reinstalled TP5 which worked.

Fast forward to TotalFX 7 being offered with MEP. I bit the bullet, but TP7 still didn't work when TFX7 was installed. The standalone version worked, but not the plugin. After many uninstall/reinstall, I saw I had TitlerEX still installed from some bygone era of MEP. So, I uninstalled that, effectively removing it from MEP.

Reinstall TFX7, and still no TP7 joy. Installed TP7 plugin, then used Revo Pro to uninstall, clean registry and remove folders. Then reinstalled TFX7 and finally, TP7 is there and working in my other editors except MEP and VPX. Go figure....

I do not have TP 7 as I had other unrelated issues with it which is why I stopped using it, TP 6 is on my system by default and I cannot get it to work in VPX 13 - it opens, you can create a title etc however they are not applied. The work around is to export the title from TP as MOV file (RGBA) and import this into MEP/VPX, however this requires Quicktime installing as the encoding format is PNG to cater for the Alpha channel.

@johnebaker I don't have TP6, but TP5 worked great. I bought TP7 as I wrote last year and in spite of all I tried, I could not get it to work. Like you, the standalone version works great.

TP7 doesn't work for me in either VPX or MEP, but it works great in Vegas Pro and Resolve Studio. Other NBFX effects do work according to NBFX has on their website, transitions and the stabilizer.

I thought I was the only one having problems with installation due to my scant knowledge but now after reading so many posts with different problems each, I feel relieved.

When I thought that everything was fine after a "successful installation, " another issue came up when trying to apply 3D animation templates ( titles). When I first tested 3D, it worked but today it did not. There is this message: "Failed to open /C/Program files Magix/Movie Edit Pro premium/2022/4748." This last number changes with every attemp. What am I suppose to do now?

I have an earlier version of MEP Premium 2015 and the 3D Effect was working fine until now. This update has caused all kinds of problems and I have spent several days trying to install it and then verifying if new features worked and then this...

Hi José

Try temporarily disabling your antivirus Real time / Folder protection / Ransomware features and run the program again.

If that works you need to add exceptions in your Antivirus to allow the program to access the folders.

Thank you again for responding so quickly.

I disabled the antivirus as you indicated and ran the program with no success. This failure has happend before with previous versions of MEP 2015 and 2017 and the only way I found was to uninstall program making sure I deleted all files in Program Files and Program Data, and some times it worked, others not. So I had to do several attemps until it finally worked.

Before updating to MEP 2022 , 3D Templates, Title Effects in MEP 2017 was working fine and when I opened it , it immediately worked with Xara and the possibilities of more effects multiplied. It was really great and I do not want to lose it.

So I was thinking of doing the uninstallation again but I have some doubts: I still have MEP 2017 installed but now all NB has been added to, so it is really a welcome surprise. My question is , if I uninstall it and install it again, would NB automatically be added to 2017 as it has occurred with the installation of MEP 2022?

Finally, I want to add some additional information. Among the error messages I got when installing MEP 2022, there was this which stated,

"The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable

Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package “vc_runtimeMinimum_64.msi” in the box below.” I looked for it and it was not there, so I searched Google here: https://www.exefiles.com/en/msi/vc-runtimeminimum-x64-msi/. Could this be the answer.

Forgive the long post , but I had great expectation upgrading. All I am trying to do is not let it vanish.

The error message relates to an issue with the Microsoft Visual C++ runtimes - see this Support article for re-installing them.

I would not recommend using 'unknown' software to fix Windows issues - Microsoft have all the necessary tools for fixing Windows issues.

For uninstalling programs completely Revo free uninstaller is recommended, it is used to un-install the program and then scan for left over files and registry items for deletion - if use this do make sure that the items left over do belong to the program deleted, you have multiple installs of MEP so it may pick some of the other versions items that should remain on your computer.

In any event, I wanted to mention that it has been thirteen days since I first bought MEP 2022 and issues keep coming up much too frequently, almost by the day. And for what I read, I am not the only one so there is the question of why is it that Magix does not step in and offer a solution, maybe a revised version ?
