MEP2013 Plus - DVD Burn - Which Encoding Option After Editing?

CarpentersMate wrote on 8/26/2020, 2:37 PM

Hi Gang

Wanted to make sure of the proper 'Encoding Option' (after editing) for subsequent DVD burns. Still using the same simple no chapter menu. *Note I frequently edit the same project file with different/additional sound effects etc. Here's a handy screen shot: http://www.ww2survivorstories.com/EncodeOptions.jpg Encode? Encode All? Rewrite? Use? Use All? Rewrite? - Thank You!

For Magix: Running Windows 10 Professional 64 bit - Dell Precision Workstation 3620 - i7 7700K 4.20 GHz Processor - 32GB Memory - (onboard video), Asus PCI Sound Card - iGPU - Two Twin esata 2TB External Drives. And for other software: Two Mac Pro Desktops with PCI & PCIe Soundcards & nVidia GeForce Graphics Cards - Mimimum memory of 16GB with #10 2TB esata Twin External Drives.

@CarpentersMate

Hi

If you have made changes to the objects on the timeline always select Encode all and both Rewrite options - this ensures all changes are committed.

If you want more copies of the same disc either use the File, Burn CD/DVD option in MEP 2013 to copy the first disc or use a disc copying program such as ImgBurn - it is quicker than re-rendering and burning the project.

Hi again John - Thank you very much - 'Encode All' (understood) and both 'Rewrite Options' meaning place a check in both those boxes?
