Took the plunge and bought the update for version 12, need it to re- edit important saved projects,get exactly what @preacherallen has in his screenshot, got the email from Magix with coupon codes,only one is the I have problems with is Mercalli 5

It looks straight-forward, but like the guy on the German forum, something seems to be missing in the description of the process, or the process doesn't work right.

When you select "Activate content pack(s)" I presume that you got the following screen and that you input your code, correct?

Then, as best I can figure from the description, you should get this:

except with a B&W download button for Mercalli. Do you get anything here? If so, did you click on it? If so, what happened?

If there is nothing there, then go to the Store, Extra Effects, select Mercalli v5. What happens? On the screen that comes up, is there something that allows you to download Mercalli? If so, when you click on it, what happens? Does it ask you to pay, enter a coupon, or indicate that you have already purchased it and you can download it?

Lots of questions, but the German guy managed to somehow get it, so there must be a way.

Edit: I didn't see your last post until after I posted. Please check what I indicated to see if there is anything there.

If you click on Purchase, can you input your activation code on that purchase screen? If you reduce the price to 0.

Tried that,reply is This is a coupon for free Store additional contents. Please enter these in the program interface (Help menu) will not let me reduce to 0,just goes to payment page to my credit card

That's about it then.

A couple of last things, did you try restarting VPX and then looking all the way down the entire list under the Effects tab for the elusive download button for Mercalli?

Under Effects, Extra effects, Scan. Does anything come up that looks like Mercalli V5?

Failing that, I will ask the guy on the German forum for exactly how he managed to do it.

Thanks again but tried all a number of times, did not work

I am now 14 days since spending my money to buy the upgrade and so far NO EMAIL, NO MERCALLI, NO NEW BLUE, NO ENHANZER, and NOTHING but automated responses to support inquiries. I have heard that Magix is having a hard time because of the virus and not a full work crew - MAYBE THEY SHOULD NOT HAVE SENT OUT SOMETHING THEY WERE NOT READY TO SUPPORT THEN! As you can tell I am a highly frustrated 12 year user who feels he was lied to concerning what he would get. They could at least answer a support inquiry (I have sent 1 with 2 extra responses from me that it was still not working). I feel 2 weeks is sufficient time to do something. Just send me the email!

Finally got to work, it accepted the coupon code, up to this it would not , was easy after that seems to be up and running,thanks for all the help

When I Entered the coupon code it downloaded Mercalli 5 in effects, the password was emailed from magix,then unlocked it with password, did not get much time to use it but used very shaky clip it did really good job of stabilisation

I am happy! A similar case in the german part of this forum is also solved

Zdecydowałem się na aktualizację do nowej wersji i nie żałuję.Używam cały czas ten sam system Win 10 Pro od początku instalacji mojego pierwszego VPX z 2017.Wszystko działa jak należy.W moim odczuciu Mercalli 5 w wersji Pro daje zdecydowanie lepsze wyniki niż RT.Nie zgodzę się z opinią ,że Da Vinci mimo darmowej okrojonej wersji jest lepszy od VPX.Da Vinci potrzebuje dużo mocy.System Win 10 Pro który używam kilka lat w swoim laptopie w połączeniu z VPX pracuje znakomicie.Z Da Vinci już tak dobrze nie jest więc po co kombinować.Jestem bardzo zadowolony z dobrze działającej nowej wersji. Pozdrawiam Tomek

Hello. I decided to upgrade to the new version and I do not regret it. I have been using the same Win 10 Pro system since the beginning of the installation of my first VPX from 2017. Everything works as it should. In my opinion Mercalli 5 in the Pro version gives definitely better results than RT. No I agree with the opinion that Da Vinci, despite the free stripped version is better than VPX. Da Vinci needs a lot of power. The Win 10 Pro system that I use for several years in my laptop in connection with VPX works great. With Da Vinci it is not so good why bother? I am very happy with the new version that works well.
