Hi!

I have Music Maker 17 and a windows 7 PC. I connected the Roland FP-7F Digital Piano to my PC with an usb cable. When i play the keyboard, the information does go to Music Maker and I can play it back even though the volume is really low but i can't go to the MIDI editor. i read the instructions over and over again and it doesn't work!

Help is appreciated!

Thank you very much

HI,

"but i can't go to the MIDI editor".

Generaly by double clicking on the MIDI objet you open the MIDI editor. On my french version the shortcut is :Ctrl+Shift+D. You can also access by right clicking on the MIDI object and selecting Midi editor in the submenu.

Regards

Hi

I assume you are using the digital piano as a Midi keyboard - in which case you need to open one of the synthesizers for you to control with the keyboard and record with - once you have the midi track then you can access the Midi Editor.

However I cannot see anywhere in the specs that this digital piano can be used as a Midi Keyboard controller AFAICS it can be controlled via midi.
