Can anyone tell how I find and install the missing dll file to run my new soundforge software!? Every time I try to open it, it tells me that it is missing. Any help would be gratefully received.
Hi and thanks for your quick reply. I've just bought Soundforge Audio Cleaning Lab4. It won't launch and I get the error message 'mfc140u.dll was not found'. I've done some more research and it looks as though the problem is to do with a missing dll file in Windows, so I will have to pursue that avenue. I'll let you know. Thanks again.

Check that you have the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable installed and it is up to date.
To repair the C++ installation, see this article on fixing the issue, you must download and install both the x86 and x64 versions.
