@Duane-Christiani

Hi and welcome to the forum.

. . . . I just ordered Magix Music Maker 2020 Premium . . . .

Where from - the current version is 2021 ?

Did you activate the software and download all the Extra Content that appears in the Download tab after activation - this includes the Song Maker functionality

@Duane-Christiani

I suspect that you have installed MMM2021 but purchased MMM2020 Premium. Song Maker has been completely changed in MMM2021 and the only way to get it is by purchasing it in the Store or by purchasing Plus or Premium for 2021, not 2020.

So, tell which version of MMM you have installed, 2020 or 2021. And what version do you see under Help, About?

Note that the program is free; you pay for the add-ons which you have to download and install after activating the Plus or Premium serial number.

Thank you for responding. I only have one version and that is Music Maker 2021 Premium Edition. That is where i tried to find the song maker but couldn't. So is the song maker an addon that you have to pay for? That would suck

Hi,

You did not answer my question - what version do you see under Help, About?

Again, the program is free, you did not buy it.

Please reread what I wrote.

If you purchased Premium 2020 and are applying it to the 2021 version of the program, you will not have the new 2021 features. Not only that, any credits from Premium 2020 may not show up in the 2021 version of the program.

On the Magix website under Music Maker, it says, "Music Maker Store credit from older versions cannot be redeemed in Music Maker 2021 (Version 29 or later)."

From where did you get Premium 2020? And why? Magix is selling Premium 2021, not 2020.

To take full advantage of the Premium 2020 Soundpools, Features, etc., you should have first applied Premium 2020 to the MMM2020 version, activated the Premium version in the program, downloaded and installed everything and then used the credits. After that, you could upgrade the program to 2021 (free), activate it using the Premium 2020 version, and there probably would have been something under the Downloads button. However, you would not get the old version of Song Maker, you would have to purchase it or the 2021 Plus or or Premium version.

See the comparison chart.

The Downloads button only shows up if you have logged in and activated a serial number and there is something to be downloaded and installed.
