Missing ExpressFX Reverb DLL in ACID Pro 8.0.12 on Windows 11 Home

Happy new Year everyone.

I need the original ExpressFX Reverb DLL that ACID Pro 8.0.12 (Build 26) normally installs via DLM. On my fresh Windows 11 Home 25h2 installation, the DLM fails to initialize, and therefore the ExpressFX Reverb plugin is not installed. Exactly the same probem happened on my previous laptop with both the latest version of Windows 11 Home and also the 22h2 and 23h2 version.

The specific DLL I am looking for is:

sfexpreverb.dll (ExpressFX Reverb plugin)

Without this DLL:

ACID Pro 8 cannot display or use the Reverb effect on tracks that previously relied on it.

If I try to play any projects that previously used the ExpressFX Reverb plugin, the program crashes immediately. Because of this, I cannot even switch those tracks to use VST reverb alternatives.

In case you need it, my hardware set up is as follows:

CPU: Intel Core i7, GPU: NVIDI GeForce GTX 1650, RAM: 16GBs, Sound: Realtek audio

I’m asking anyone in the Magix.info community if they can provide guidance on how to obtain this original legacy DLL or advise on an official way to restore it.

Additionally, I’m trying to reach a human customer support agent, because using the online contact form repeatedly loops me through AI responses without resolving the issue. Any guidance on how to contact a human at Magix directly would be greatly appreciated.

First, since this is essentially the same question as you asked in your other thread, my initial response was to consider hiding it and asking that all responses and further postings were made there. However, I do accept you are asking for a quite specific file from other users so am prepared to leave your post visible! But, in the future, please do not create "parallel" or duplicate threads, thank you!

Magix GMBh has recently undergone major restructuring and one of the "casualties" of this has been a considerable loss of active support in any form other than AI. This has been regularly commented on by other users and is certainly far from satisfactory!

However, to directly answer your question, the only method of which I am aware and by which you can "hope" to receive a human, rather than AI, reply is if, having raised a Support ticket and received some kind of reply you then reply to that reply requesting additional support. Unfortunately, there is no guarantee this will work, currently, but I do know, from personal experience, that some support staff are now "back" and, I believe, attempting to catch up with all support requests.

Just one other thing: thank you for the details of your computer but it would be helpful if you could include the full name of your CPU and your hard drive type and size, along with its free space. The best way to do this is to add that information to your Signature (found under your profile); it will then be added to any post you create.

Thanks for your reply Jeff. Apologies for the parallel post. My previous post appeared to be a dead end, so I decided to try a different tack to get the specific file I need.

As for support, I did 'reply to the reply' as prompted by the AI bot, but instead of putting me in touch with a human it just responded with another standard copy and paste reply that stopped me in my tracks. Do you think I should create a new email using the online form and try again, or just leave those previous emails in my inbox and hope that a human replies to those? Alternatively, is there a working phone number for customer support I can call?

I'll add the cpu and ssd details to my signature later.
