Thanks John, my whole KF panel is greyed out. Even with keyframes set, the arrows are greyed out, as per my pic.

On the other hand, SPR activates the KF panel as expected.

Strange. I tried both video and image clips.

Doing kf's in SPR then switching to Camera/Zoom and adding kf's using the zoom box worked fine as well.

There must be something else going on. Did you try a new project?

Yes, that worked. The KF panel stayed active when I swapped to CZS. I did try a new project, no joy going to CZS directly.

Great, thanks for that. I'll put it down as a bug; it should "turn on" automatically, as the other effects do.

@AAProds Bit easier than switching to SPR but yeah i'd expect them to turn on as soon as i made a selection on screen.

@Former user Unfortunately the effect/Bezier button only comes up after you've dragged the box around the first time (which means you have to reset it if you want to start at full-screen), so going via SPR is neater, as you get the KF control panel before you start adjusting the box.

I would -

click From Section,

on the first KF - Movie Size

then click the Bezier button to enable the KFs & adjust as needed

PS, I think the Movie Size button could do with some work, if you're lets say halfway down the timeline & have already created a few sections/selections/KFs, then want to return to full screen, the Movie Size button does make the selection the size of the movie but it's offset, it's centre is where the last selection was positioned, I'd like Movie Size to return to full screen 0/0 centre.

I was able to replicate the problem...with difficulty. Doing what you are doing does not turn on the the SPR box. Click on it and you'll have access to the kf's.

Yo John. The problem is that you have to resize the crop box first so that the SPR effect you are pointing to appears. But because one would normally start at full screen, one then has to manually drag the crop box back out to full screen. I couldn't even get your old hack, for resetting to fullscreen, to work because that resets the whole shooting match back to zero.

Such a great effect messed up by a silly implementation.

Hi Al,

Just start with SPR, Apply Effect, then go to C/Zs. You can now click on the +kf button, etc. I can't see this as being a big deal, just a minor annoyance.

Raise a ticket with Magix to see what they say.

PS your way works too, with the two effects the procedure can be applied, it is as suggested a bit of a faff,

Hi Gid,

The only problem, as I see it, is that Al wants to set a 100kf at a particular point without having touched anything in the C/Zs dialogue. The +kf button cannot be accessed until something is clicked on (other than the duration).
