I'm puzzled why my iPhone 6S+ records movies like this example in vertical mode.

The iPhone app that recorded it (Motion Sensor), is presumably the root cause, because MediaInfo shows that it is indeed 1080x1920.

Yet all the other video players I've tried (WMP, MPC-HC, VLC, PotPlayer, etc) are smart enough to play it correctly in landscape mode. But not MEPP 2016. After a -90 rotation it then needs resizing to fill the screen, two unwanted extra steps.
How does it appear when imported in other users' versions of MEPP please?
