Exactly which version and edition of MEP do you have?

Also, please quote the full wording of the error message you see or, even more ideally, post a screenshot of it to your next reply.

Hi

Can you clarify the issue your are having please:

  1. Which version of Movie Edit Pro are you using, full name and version number as found under Help, About?
     
  2. What is your computer specification, see this topic for what is required? I would suggest you also put this in your profile Signature.
     
  3. Do you mean you are being asked to activate the MPEG-2 codec?
     
  4. At what stage are you being asked to do this, eg when you attempt to burn to DVD disc or at an earlier stage?
     
  5. What is the full content of the error message?
     
  6. What has changed since you last burned a DVD dis, eg Windows updated to a later version, new computer?

What is your technical skill level with computers?

The reason I ask this is because one solution requires editing in the Registry.
