Movie edit pro 17 HD opens too large and with arranger only

Movie edit pro 17 HD opens too large and with arranger only.

It used to open with the monitor, media pool and the arranger....but now it

only opens with the arranger way too large, and it does this on 2 computers.

I know there is a simple answer to fix this, but I just can not find it.

I've searched here as well, and found no info.

Thanks in advance..... this fix will be so helpful....

Hi,

Try F9, or File, Settings, Reset program settings to default.

browj2,

I had earlier put in the original disc, and tried repair, and that did nothing.... also the F9

key seems to do nothing......

But " Reset program settings to default" worked and I'm using a dual monitor setup as well.

Of course I had to go in and change settings to my preference, but glad to do it!

Thanks again, and I do hope this helps others.

Within arranger, there's a setting for the default window sizes. That will also take care of it. Your symptom only happens when the monitor window is outside the overall frame, and exit is by the Windows X, instead of exit. (Caveat, I've dealt with this before, but can't verify as I'm having another problem, just getting MEP to start.)

@D_K_O

F9 should normally reset to default window sizes.

Thank you both. Yes, the command in ranger, under Windows, offers a click, and a hint to use F9, next time. :) Appreciate.
