@david-again

Hi

Movie Edit Pro 2015 does work on Windows 11, however there are limitations after installing:-

  • Importing video with Dolby Surround Sound, and exporting MP4 h.264 encoded video, with Dolby Surround Sound, are not supported due to licensing issues. You will get the 'Expansion package' dialog, however the download fails, and the import/export will be stereo only.

  • HEVC encoded video import/export may no longer be available, you will get a popup asking to purchase/activate the codec, if you already have an activation code this may fail.

  • Hardware acceleration may not be available if this is a new PC/laptop and it has a Nvidia graphics card installed, MEP 2015 does not support NVENC which is Nvidia's dedicated decoder/encoder.

If you wish to consider upgrading to the current version of MEP, now called Video deluxe, and this is a new PC, what is the specification of your computer system, see this topic for what is required and please quote processor and graphics card make/model in full, and also what monitor/screen resolution(s) you are working with if this is a laptop.
