@PAL21

Hi

Try the following in order until one works

  1. Press F9 to reset the screen layout.

  2. If you can see the top menus select Window, Windows arrangement, Standard

  3. Select File, Settiings, Reset program settings to default

  4. Using Windows File Explorer browse to

    C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\MAGIX\\Videodeluxenn_edition

    where nn = a 2 digit number and version = Plus, Premium or does not exist

    Locate the videodeluxe.ini file and delete it.

Note: the Appdata file is a hidden file you may need to set File Explorer to show hidden and system files.

If all the above fail - we need more information:-

  • Computer specification and program version, see this topic for what is required and please quote processor and graphics card make/model in full - I would suggest you put this information in your profile signature so we do not have to keep asking for it.

  • Are the graphics card drivers up to date?

  • A screen shot of the Program settings, Display options tab would also help.

Hello John. I hope this gets to you but after spending days trying to solve the problem without success and getting very frustrated, for the first time ever I used the community post.. I did as you said by pressing F9 and the problem was solved. Can't thank you enough Regards Peter
