Background: I stream the games I play and record while I stream (using OBS streamlabs). I recently changed the video recording settings in OBS. I've always recorded in the mp4 format.

Issue: After I changed my recording settings, the mp4 files I try and import to Movie Edit Pro freeze it and my windows file explorer. While frozen, I am still able to open other programs and my system's CPU is only at 40% usage, memeroy at 60% usage, GPU at 10% usage. The mp4 files I have from before the change to my video recordings (via obs streamlabs) can still be easily imported into Movie Edit Pro.

Question: Is there a file size limit to what Movie Edit Pro is willing to import? mp4 file in question is 24.8 GB. Maybe there are other file restrictions that MEP can import?
