Movie Edit Pro MX - Any way to stop export once it has started?

After many years of using this product successfully, I finally ran into an issue that I could not find an answer for. I'm using MEP MX and recently I was working on a project where I edited a video of my son I had shot for upload to youtube.  I went ahead and proceeded with the export option to upload the video as I had done many times before.

Only this time, I noticed that I need to make an additonal change.  it was then I couldn't find any method to stop the process and go back and make changes.  Unfortunately, I wasn't prompted to save the project the way I am when I'm burning a DVD or AVCHD, so the only way to halt things would be to kill the entire thing, losing all the changes I had made in the process.

I found the same thing if I save the video to my pc, once you hit  "Save Video" that's it and no chance to stop it without using the task manager.

Am I missing something, or should there be a dialog box to allow me to cancel the export gracefully?

Thanks in advance for any guidance.

Hi

To abort an export try hitting the Esc key on the keyboard - you can stop the process gracefully - a dialog pops up asking you if you wish to cancel the export.
