I have an online bought version of Magix Movie Edit Pro Premium which runs on Windows 10. I have just tried to open it but the opening loading screen lasts for a few seconds showing 'Installing COM platform' and then nothing. Can anyone help please?

I have never seen this mention of 'Installing COM platform' raised before.
Where did you buy your copy of Movie Edit Pro Premium from?

The system seems to meet the minimum specs for running but just. I don't think MEP can use your Intel processors GPU so it's relying on the nvidia card if you are going to get any hardware acceleration as opposed to being dependant on software rendering.
The nvidia card looks OK. Do you have the correct and latest graphics drivers installed for both GPUs?
It still doesn't really explain the message you are getting. The only internet searches I can find on that message relates to gaming. Have not seen anyone else mention this problem on the forum before.
If no-one else has an explanation for you here soon I would try an uninstall and reinstall of MEP and make sure there is nothing else running during the install process. Also check to make sure you have a lot more room on your C: drive than recommended as it needs a lot of room on the drive to function properly.

MEP can use the integrated GPU (iGPU) for hardware acceleration, it is a HD4600; however it may not be able to because the iGPU is disabled in the BIOS - check in the BIOS of the motherboard to enable it if it is disabled - for how you will need to consult the motherboard manual or the makers website.

If you are using Windows Defender as your AntiVirus, try turning off the Protected folder option and run MEP again.
If that does not work or you are running a different AV you will need to contact Support here.

Can you give any details on the last time it was working? Have you added any new programs or codec packs since it was working last? Installed any new drivers etc?
Where do the files come from that you work on? Are they from a phone?
