Using Movie Studio 2022 Platinum I bought.
When I dropped in an mp4 and played it, the audio is not in sync, yet it plays correctly with Microsoft video.ui.exe
I know how you feel. I bought some new shoes and they're a bit too tight for me but they fit my grandson perfectly.

The details we need, especially the Mediainfo data should help us provide an answer for you.

We need more information on the source video you are using.
Download and install MediaInfo and analyse one of the clips and post the results, see this tutorial on how to setup MediaInfo and analyse a video clip for all the data required.
It would also help if we had your computer specification and program full name and version, see this topic for what is required and please quote processor and graphics card make/model in full - I would suggest you put this information in your profile signature so we do not have to keep asking for it in future posts you may make
