Check this setting in the Program settings, is checked
If that is checked, we need more information
Program full name and version number as found under Help, About . . .
Do other video clips import with sound and can you hear them?
Do you see the audio waveform ? On the timeline, click the video file, right click it and select Audio functions, Video/audio in separate tracks, right click again and select Audio functions, Create wave form.
Use MediaInfo to analyse the video clip causing the problem and post the results from the Text view.
Hi John, yup it was checked ... I don't see wavform.
When I separated video and audio file I don't see waveform...
It is important to say that cli HAS sound, because I can play it withut problem in any video player ...
That is what Mediainfo says:

National television sent me 2 clips. None of them has a sound in MEPRO, but in all.other players sound is okay.
Also, all other clips from.other.sources that I import to MEPRO plays perfectly and sound is okay.
Could you, please, be little more precise when you say:
If this is a screen capture using Shadow Play then the audio bitrate setting should be set to constant if possible. Otherwise try running this clip through a video converter, if you have one, which will give a constant bitrate for the audio.
Do you mean that I have to convert video in other format (mpeg for.instance) to get the sound?
Looking forward for your response .Thank you very much for your help and your time.
First, I suspect that MEP will "expect" 48kHz sampling rate, and the declaration of two rates is not something I have seen before, but also that frame rate seems very strange!
As to "converting" the video, I'm sure John himself will respond but what he is suggesting is that you run your file through a convertor, not to output in a new format but simply to convert the VBR on the audio to CBR. I would also seek to convert the sample rate to 48kHz.
. . . . Can I convert video to 48kHz via MEP? . . . .
If MEP cannot handle the audio when you import the video clip, then MEP will not be able to convert it!
I use Movavi Video Converter (paid for) for any video conversions I need to do - mainly MOV files - no Quicktime installed. There are many other good converters available.
