As @CubeAce wrote, this is a public forum so personal data should never be posted here. So thank you for editing your post!

You have posted to the Movie Edit Pro area of the forum but we cannot be sure exactly which program you have, nor its version or edition (Basic, Plus or Premium). "Magix" is the name of the software manufacturer, it is not the name of any program.

Also, please tell us rather more about your computer, its hardware and operating system. This post will show you the sort of information we really need!

Since you ask about the Mpeg4 codec I wonder if you actually mean the Main Concept Encoder, now very much an optional add-on to MEP since the software has included a default mp4 export codec for several years now? As I implied, you do not need the MC Encoder in order to be able to export to .mp4 (Mpeg4).

@theodore

Hi

This is a public user to user forum.and I have edited your post has been edited to remove the image of your software - it was showing the serial number. Please do not post images showing serial numbers or other any other confidential information in the forum.

Please create a new topic in the correct Video Easy subforum here, this is the forum for Magix Movie Studio.

We also need more information on the MP4 file(s) you are trying to import.

Download and install MediaInfo and analyse one of the clips and post the results, see this tutorial if you are not familiar with MediaInfo on how to setup MediaInfo and analyse a video clip.

Was there any error dialog that popped up when trying to import the video, if so what was the message?

It would also help if you put computer specification and program version in your profile signature so we do not have to keep asking for it. See this topic for what is required and please quote processor and graphics card make/model in full.
