The issue fixed is a decoding (import) issue, IIRC, and I stand to be corrected on this, there was an issue with Dolby 7.1 Surround Sound not being imported correctly.

Assuming you mean Roberto's topic, I think the confusion there is the Update notifier 'update is actually the upgrade message to VPX 17 from 16 .

It seems an odd thing to fix as one can't copy a commercially encoded disc. Not sure where else you would encounter a 7.1 encoded file.

No it was the image above that one in Roberto's prior post where it stated it exported to surround sound.
