I'm currently running MEP 2017 Plus version, with its four multi-cam capability, on Win 10 64bit.
Today I received an offer by email to upgrade to "Movie Edit Pro Summer Edition 2017 Premium" for GBP 49.99. When I follow the link to the feature list for this product, I note it only claims four multi-cam capability, rather than the nine which I thought used to be a feature of Premium.
Is this fact or a misprint, does anyone know? If correct, I presume it's because of the need to handle 4k formats; I imagine anything less than a full workstation might struggle with four and would certainly not be able to support nine multi-cam! (other than via proxies, of course)
A corollary if I may? The feature list for this Summer Edition talks of an "optimised" video engine, but will this be any different from the version in the (fully updated) MEP 2017 Plus I'm currently working with?
Thanks, regards - Mike -
