Hi John,

I have a very powerful pc a "boosted" i7 built by a friend of mine.

I am taking scenes from HDV- and AVCHD-camcorder. And the strangest thing I had a lot of problems the other week with the same type of raw-material but finally I managed to make a movie (68 minutes). I solved the problems without knowing how I did.

Now it is exactly the same problem but I cannot figure out how to solve it.

In other words I know it works but I cannot understand what causes this frustrating  matter.

Perhaps I should add that previously I have made several movies without no problems.

Best Regards,

Hi

Can you be more specific about your computer specification - ie Processor version, RAM - type amount and configuration,  hard drive(s) - configuration and whether SATA 3 or 6, graphics card.

Do you have GPU acceleration turned on i the program settings?

John

I believe that my current problem is the time-line setting because a couple of days ago I succeded in making a movie of 68 minutes (multicamera-editing). But first after I shortened the movie down to about 1 centimeter looking like an EAN-code on the time-line. Now I cannot obtain the view again.

In the past I have made several DVD and BD without any problems. Therefore I believe my computer is competent in this matter.

Could it be the downloading of an update from Magix that caused changed settings?

Hi John,

I have good news. After removal of the first 3 minutes in multiple camera - position it was quite ease to make the rest and only the first session was made with one camera.

The reason for that problem in the beginning of the raw film I cannot understand. In the future I will only use to camcorders with 1920 x 1080 i or p.

Thanks for your reply anyway.
