Music 2000 (Ps1)

Really hoping someone can help with this:

I've recently been presented with the opportunity for a commercial music release that I composed in Music 2000 (a.k.a. MTV Music Generator) on a PSOne in 1999. This music uses the software's built-in loop/sample library. I'd like to inquire about licensing for these loops and samples. It's four songs total and I can provide audio files if necessary.

I’m not looking for a monthly license to author new music. This only pertains to loops and samples contained on the original 1999 PlayStation game Music 2000.

NOTE: I tried submitting this inquiry through the Support desk, but I get a bad gateway message every time.

Thanks for any help you can provide!

@Kelly-Wood

Welcome to the Magix user to user forums.

Looking at Google for information on the MTV Music Generator it seems to have been developed by Jester Interactive and marketed by Codemasters for the PS1 and Windows.

As far as I can see it has no connection whatsoever to Magix, so I don't think there is much likelihood of anyone who posts here being able to answer your question, unless they, too, have or have used this specific software, sorry.

For the time being, I will leave the thread open for any further replies, but it may eventually be closed as being irrelevant to these forums.

EDIT: Jester Interactive have a website here and Codemasters here. Perhaps worth contacting either or both with your question?

I see, thanks for your reply. Perhaps there is some confusion on my part to two different applications.

I appreciate your response!
