Music Maker 13 VST add ons

I want to add a synthesiser to MMM13 but although it shows up in Instruments there is no sound? Any help would be much appreciated.

Can be a compatibility issue, driver issue, you might have to turn the synth "On" , or turn up volume on tahe synth
