@juliocesar-b

Welcome to the Magix user to user forums.

Please tell us first exactly which version and variant of Music Maker you have updated from and to. If you previously had MM 2020 (version 28) and have updated to MM 2021 (version 29) you now have the Free variant of Music Maker. Because this was the first 64 bit release, Magix view it as a new program and, in order to gain full access to it, each user must pay to upGRADE. In previous years and for earlier versions, updating, e.g., from version 27 Premium to version 28, would mean the user would still have access to the Premium variant, without extra cost. That is not the case for anyone moving to version 29.

So, please tell us more about which version you had and which you now have.

@juliocesar-b Usually it is not necessary to enter the serial number again after updating.

Try opening the program settings and click on the button to clean up the store. This will delete the cache and the cache will be recreated from scratch. An old cache can be the cause for problems after an update.

Music Maker Premium Edition (2021)

Válida hasta :Ilimitado

And now they basically tell me that to use it I must give them more money, what a beautiful way to rob people, forcing them to pay more without notifying them of the same

@juliocesar-b

No, you did not lose your money and you can return to the previous version you had!

Please read this comment and follow carefully the procedure to remove MM 29 and then reinstall MM 28. Once it is installed make sure you reject all offers to update to version 29.

By the way, there is no point whatsoever in making threats to put this on a video review to all people know that is a scare program this. Many software manufacturers make a charge for updates which are, in the case of Music Maker 2021, actually an upgrade to a brand new program. Magix has previously allowed users of Music Maker to update to a new version without charge; this is NOT standard practice in the software industry and actually represents considerable generosity. The difference with the change to version 29 is that, because of the introduction of the 64 bit audio engine, with all the dedicated research and development time that such a change must have entailed, it is fundamentally a "new" program. Hence the necessity to buy the upgrade.
