My computer died and i reinstalled Movie edit Pro 2019 Version 19.0.1.23 My original version had "planar stabilization" and now when i open a project that was created before the crash and i had used stabilization, it tells me it can't find it. I need it so i can continue editing. This download has "proDAD Mercalli 2.0" How can i get this "Planar Stabilization" plugin? I am using the same computer and i had to do a clean install of windows 10 home so that's why i needed to reinstall Movie Edit Pro.

Hi John, and welcome to the user to user forums .

We users have noted over a period of time that often third party plug-ins supplied with various versions of MEP (Movie Edit Pro) as promotional incentives have limited activation available and can not be re-installed or activated at a later date. Some can if the individual keeps their subscription service up to date and are running the current version. Some are still not available if the base operating system no longer supports the plug-in.

When you originally download the program you are asked if you want to download a backup copy of the program. It is always best to accept and store the backup for cases where the whole program needs to be re-installed but even then a third party plug-in may not be able to be reactivated.

I think but I don't know for sure that in this instance you may have lost the use of that plug-in.

What is the exact message?

Movie Edit Pro 2019 only came with the Magix Image Stabilisation and proDAD Mercalli 2.

Was the 'Planar Stabilization' the third party plugin from Boris FX ?
