I have the Movie Editor 15 Download version and when I attempt updates they fail because the install says it cannot find the Magix folder. What can I do?

More information is needed:-
At what stage does the error message appear - while MEP is trying to contact the servers or after the patch has been downloaded and is attempting to install.
Have there been any changes to the computer since MEP 15 was installed ie upgrades to the hardware or Windows?
What version of Windows do you have?
MEP 15 is five versions behind the current version and there are no new updates available for it since support stopped for this version (IIRC - 2010/11).
